Celebrating Difference, Funding Equity
The Minerva Project • August 1, 2025
Achieving true healthcare equity requires more than good intentions; it demands resources that address the diverse needs of different communities. These art prints explore variation in life, using patterns and contrasts to reflect the differences in our health experiences and the care required to meet them, in an effort to support organizations advancing health equity:

Variations on Set
4 x 6 Print
Science and medicine, human biology and healthcare, are all rooted in standardized patterns that rely on recognizing similarity. These structures help build a system that allows treatment and procedures to be carried out methodically and efficiently. However, differences in biology are important to be reflected in this system. This print explores how systematic patterns, and their variation, make up human life, using rigid shapes to create humanoid figures.
Catch of the Day
4 x 6 Print
This print further explores the variance in patterns throughout life, specifically through fish—an organism with thousands of species that take on different structures of identity and biology, including gender. Using colors, shapes, and patterns, this print illustrates how variation can exist within similarity.

Garden Life
4 x 6 Print
Similarly, this print explores differences in biology through plant life. The same standardized shapes make up each pot of greenery, yet they result in an array of appearances and adaptations—a reminder that even shared foundations can lead to countless unique outcomes.
These prints will be available soon, more information can be found here.
